ASSISTED SALES

  • Helping homeowners improve their property and sell for a higher price, or managing the sale process on their behalf.  From funding and managing refurbishments through to marketing and negotiation, we handle the detail so you can achieve the best result with minimal stress- even if you're located elsewhere.


Selling a property can be stressful and time consuming, especially if you're not nearby.  Our Assisted Sales service is designed to take the strain away- whether you want to unlock hidden value through refurbishment, or simply need a trusted partner to manage the sale form start to finish. 


Here's how it works:

  1. Assessment: We review your property and agree on the right approach- whether that's strategic improvements or a straight sale.
  2. Improvement (optional): Where agreed, we fund and manage the necessary works to enhance value.
  3. Sale: We coordinate marketing, viewings and negotiations with buyers.
  4. Updates: You receive regular progress updates, so you remain fully informed, wherever you are.
  5. Share/Completion: You receive your agreed share of the uplift (where works are carried out) or the net proceeds from a straight forward sale.


This process is particularly helpful if you live abroad, are tied up with other commitments, or simply want peace of mind knowing that the sale is being handled professionally.




Background

Candid Developments is owned and led by Jonathan Eyers. 


In 2003 Jonathan graduated with BSc Hons in Construction Management and then spent 12 years working in site management roles for main contractors, before moving on to private projects. His experience spans the high-end luxury refurb market in London, as well as new luxury residential properties in the home counties.  Examples of projects he worked on are shown below. 


Since 2009, each house he has lived in has been bought as a project to renovate and add value- with 90% of the work being done by himself.


Candid Developments began in 2017, offering Jonathan an ideal way to combine his professional experience and hands-on approach to property development.


The business started with a dilapidated flat being bought at auction, refurbished to a high standard by himself, rented to a professional couple and soon sold on for a profit.  Subsequently the sister company Candid Build Ltd was formed as a SPV to continue the BRR process, leaving Candid Developments to focus on their own projects and offer project management services to other investors/ landlords.
